I recently attended two workshops delivered by Carrie Fogarty of Thistle Business Services. The workshops taught attendees how to maximise the use of AI for their businesses. Carrie is so knowledgeable about all of the tools, and explains everything in such an easy to follow manner. I’m already using what I have learnt to save myself time within my working day. Carrie Fogarty is the brains behind Thistle Business Services, and she has mentioned a few times that AI can help streamline routine tasks in business, so I was very keen to attend when she announced her “Curious About AI” workshop and I’m very glad I did!

Carrie gave us an overview of genres AI can be used in, tasks AI can perform and some of the more commonly used AI software. She then went into more detail by looking at some case-studies, which I found particularly useful, as this allowed me to visualise what AI could do for my business, for example, taking the boredom out of keeping spreadsheets of customers and prospects up to date.

Carrie’s explanations were very clear, and she was very patient throughout, happily clarifying any queries I had, which was all the more commendable since I had arrived late to the workshop. Nevertheless, after the session, Carrie gave me a brief yet thorough roundup of all that I had missed.

I love the fact that Carrie offers as much or as little help as you require, either teaching you how it can be done or giving you customised support throughout your AI journey. I shall certainly be turning to her for customised support, and I have no hesitation in recommending Thistle Business Services to anyone looking to streamline their business and free up more time by using AI
